Pada tanggal 3-4 September 2024, Program Doktor Ilmu Manajemen PCU menggelar kuliah tamu bersama Albert Valentine, Ph.D, dari the University of Guam, Amerika Serikat. Kuliah ini dihadiri oleh seluruh mahasiswa baru Program Doktor Ilmu Manajemen PCU angkatan kedua/ batch 2024

Pada hari pertama, Albert Valentine memfokuskan pembahasannya pada International Business & Management. Ia mengeksplorasi strategi-strategi yang digunakan perusahaan global dalam mengelola operasi lintas negara, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam menerapkan manajemen internasional yang efektif. Hari kedua kuliah tamu ini difokuskan pada topik penting lainnya, yaitu Corporate Governance dan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Valentine menyoroti pentingnya tata kelola perusahaan yang baik dalam menjaga transparansi dan akuntabilitas, serta bagaimana CSR memainkan peran vital dalam keberlanjutan perusahaan di era modern.

Pada hari Sabtu, 7 September 2024, Program Doktor Ilmu Manajemen (PDIM) PCU menggelar kuliah tamu bersama Prof. Peter Mayer dari Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, Jerman. Perkuliahan ini bertempat di Petra Business School (PBS) Fairway 9 Mall dan dihadiri oleh seluruh mahasiswa baru Program Doktor Ilmu Manajemen angkatan ke dua; yang untuk pertama kalinya mengikuti perkuliahan secara onsite di kampus PBS.

Prof. Peter Mayer membahas topik tentang environmental, social and governance (ESG) serta bagaimana perusahaan harus merespons tuntutan pasar yang semakin mengedepankan praktik bisnis berkelanjutan dan contoh implementasinya dalam berbagai macam bidang bisnis. Acara ini menjadi momen penting bagi mahasiswa baru Program Doktor Ilmu Manajemen, tidak hanya karena topik yang disampaikan, tetapi juga karena ini adalah kesempatan pertama mereka berkumpul dan belajar bersama secara tatap muka di kampus PBS.
